The Hydrocord company of the year is a Russian manufacturer of waterproofing materials for sealing penetrations of communication networks (water supply, sewerage, etc.) Since 2019. Application of ring seals
An annular space seal is a device that is used to prevent liquid or gas leaks when driving various communications (water supply, sewerage, heating, electrical cables, grounding strips, etc.) through enclosing structures.
The sealing ring consists of two stainless steel pressure plates up to 8mm thick and a sealing core, which can consist of one or two layers of rubber. The tightening elements (bolts) are located in such a way that the tightening force is distributed evenly over the entire area of the seal, even with non-centered penetrations.
Ring seals can be used both to protect against groundwater in underground structures and to protect against leaks from tanks, pools and other containers that need to be waterproofed.
